Origins

Where it started.

01 — Early Life

Born and raised in Springfield, Nebraska, I grew up in a tight-knit community where hard work, neighborliness, and showing up on time were the rules of the road. Long before I managed fleets, I was learning the value of a handshake and a job done right.

At Platteview High School I balanced academics with athletics and part-time work — early lessons in time management, accountability, and serving people that still shape how I lead today.

02 — Family & Roots

I was born February 14, 2001, the youngest of three — Zach, then Rachel, then me. We lived on the outskirts of Springfield in a small, quiet neighborhood. My dad was an ironworker for Local 21 and my mom worked as a mortgage underwriter for Wells Fargo.

Every summer we spent a week in Northern Kentucky visiting family — time on the farm, on horseback, and hiking the mountains where my dad had grown up in Covington, KY.

On August 25, 2007, my father suddenly passed in a work accident. It rocked our world. Surrounded by incredible family, friends, and a community that showed up in every way, I still had an amazing upbringing — and I'm closer than ever with those same people today.

03 — Sports & School

Growing up I played soccer, basketball, football, and baseball. By junior high I narrowed in — dropping baseball and soccer to play AAU basketball with OSA. I played hoops year-round and football through high school, meeting incredible people along the way and learning early how much I loved traveling to new cities.

After graduating from Platteview High School, I accepted a football scholarship to Dakota State University in Madison, SD. I spent a year there before COVID — and a few other factors — pushed me to step away from football and transfer back home to UNO.

At UNO I majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, joined Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike, Delta Chi Chapter), and got the itch to compete again — joining the women's basketball team as a practice squad player, scouting and preparing with them every day throughout the season.

In May of 2023, I became the first member of my family to graduate college.

04 — Today

Out of college I started my career at Werner Enterprises and bought my first home at 22 in Omaha's Benson neighborhood — both in the same year. I love pushing myself, growing my knowledge, and meeting new people, whether that's in the gym, deep in a new book, or picking someone's brain over coffee.

In 2025 I joined the TeamMates mentoring program back in my high school district to give back to the community that gave so much to me. I travel as often as I can, spend time with friends and family, and catch a sports game whenever the schedule allows.
